My Story
Joel grew up under the sweltering sun of central California. The small town of his childhood inspired his first novel - Happenstance. He has a Master’s Degree in History and International Relations. During grad school, Joel worked in West Africa and previously studied in London.
Writing began as a hobby, but turned serious after the birth of his daughter. A great irony of timing. Colorado is home and Joel tries to spend as much time on the river as possible. When not pursuing other hobbies or his daytime job, you’ll find him writing late into the night while his daughter is sleeping.
